Travelling the Distances©

I shall stand beside you at all times.

I shall walk beside you in all things.

I shall always be a guardian at your gate.

I shall nurture your free spirit.

I shall laugh with you in the sunshine.

I shall hold you in the night, and keep you safe.

You shall know that I will heal you, if you are hurt.

You shall know that I will soothe you, if you are afraid.

You shall know that I will help you up, if you fall down.

We shall each live our lives, in full, every day.

We shall each give the other all we can.

We shall be bold - together - in the face of challenge.

For me, you shall always be ‘you’.

And, that is all I ask.
